Jay Levy

For more than two decades Jay Levy produced and led production teams for ESPN.  He was directly involved in many of the most visible brands in both live events – College Basketball, the College World Series and the NBA Draft – and live studio production – SportsCenter, NFL Countdown, College Gameday and Baseball Tonight.

Now, he is taking that vast playbook and helping colleges elevate their brands and drive social and fan engagement through digital content development and broadcast production.

Jay is a pro’s pro, who knows how to create, edit and distribute video content promoting all aspects of an intercollegiate athletics program. More importantly, utilizing campus facilities and academic programs, he will develop a specific strategy for an institution to maximize impact and minimize costs. He is a tremendous asset for athletics programs at all levels, who seek vital exposure and awareness but has limited resources.

His game plan for success is built on a winning formula rooted in knowing what fans want and then challenging himself and his team to create unique and memorable customized content. Jay produces from the field, not the sidelines. His ability to listen, ask the right questions and identify challenges and opportunities for growth allow him to lead and empower teams to execute solutions that increase productivity and drive revenue.

A 6-time Sports Emmy Award winner, Jay’s professional experience and success as a senior leader at ESPN were built on a foundation of innovation, creativity and delivering cutting-edge highlights, in-depth analysis, and compelling feature stories.  He and his teams used these tools to take fans inside the game and inform and entertain them before, during and after those events.

As a producer, he improved each property he worked on, leaving it in a more stable and successful position.  He implemented business strategies that both raised ratings and maximized budgets through increased efficiency and prioritizing return on investment.
